2022 Marshals Training Day

For the first time since the end of the 2019 season, we finally saw the return of our face to face Marshals Training on Saturday 19th March at a wonderful new venue for us, Goodwood Racecourse. It was a packed timetable to cover as much as possible in the day with sessions on: Speed and Race Marshalling theory, Flag Marshalling, First Aid, Fire theory and practical, Radios and Communications, Specialist Marshalling and the role of the Post Chief and IO

Training during the Covid Pandemic – Zoom Training

While our usual Training Weekends weren’t able to take place for obvious reasons,  our Training Secretary ran a few Zoom sessions to help give newcomers a basic introduction to Marshalling and to serve as a reminder / refresher for others who hadn’t been able to Marshal for a while.

These were not official Motorsport UK training sessions and will not count towards any of the Training Modules in your Personal Record Cards for upgrades etc.

We haven’t got any more of these sessions planned currently, but if and when we do an update will be posted here and emailed out to all club members
